Hot Buttered Soul backed by The Bar-Kays (69) is all the info I need to say about this classic. Side A is a guitar funk heaven.

One of the greatest soul albums of all time. Teddy Pendergrass made this group before he left. He was one of the best soul singers ever.

Another win and recommend from me to upgrade to a At-vm95ml. Just got this MoFi Close To The Edge by YES! Damn does it sound so clean. The press obviously is top. But the 95ML just finishes off just right.

Some twisted tea with my new MoFi purchase of Close to The Edge. A Prog holy grail album.

A destination for those who prefer the combination of audio and alcohol. Whether it's vinyl & single malt, FLAC & wine, or cassettes & brews, we're all just looking to have a good time in front of the stereo. If your means of relaxation is in a more "herbal" form rather than libation, come on in and pass it around! Be nice, crank up the volume, and CHEERS!!!

This just arrived!!!!! I was close to the edge last Tuesday and was like why not. Took the plunge and dropped a hundo on the MoFi press on a sale from Discogs. It was actually basically free for me cause I used money from 3 records I sold the previous 3 weeks. Can’t wait to spin this…

When I first heard this album when I purchased I was like that’s James Brown lite! Great singer. Not exactly James on the stage. But vocals are damn close.

Look Out For #1: The Brothers Johnson (76) The debut album that gave us one of the more underrated funk groups to come out of the 70’s! Maybe not so much in this sub Reddit, but deft in overall popular music history…IMO

Follow up post from Saturday! Arrived yesterday and spun it right away. As some had stated that the drums are a bit punchy, especially first track. But I love it and glad I added it to my almost complete collection

Just ordered Vapor Trails. I’ve known about Rush since the 90’s. But not to familiar with this album. I only need Clockwork and Snakes to finish off all my studio albums collection. Was wondering how this remix compares to OG? Thanks.

All a $1 each from a local city mission thrift shop. The Badfinger is my favorite of the lot. I took a chance on the Angel and Trapeze albums cause of the cool album cover art.

Say what ya want about the bubble gum OG J5. But when they started to mature with this album (Get It Together) and as the transitioned into The Jackson’s. The boys made some killer funky grooves. My favorite on this album is Hum along and Dance.

David Ruffin self titled (73) Damn this is a fabulous album. Just picked it up. Too bad he had lots of demons. He could’ve gone down as one of the true greats if not for his addictions v

A pretty good album as I may say. Not close to the 70’s hight. But it’s pretty solid.

I’ve always loved this album. But really finally realized YES took the best of the new synth tech of the time and just molded into one of the best of the 80’s as only YES can do. This album gets some gripes from some fans. But a top album for them.

Probably my top 5 $2 vinyl album find a couple years ago. Album cover beat up a bit, vinyl was hell of a dirty. But a good cleaned revealed an amazing sounding VG record. Katey Lied is my favorite.
