Help I can’t get into the game

So back when I had a laptop I could only play offline/on airplane mode. And only go online to update, download cc…. Then I’d go into the game play for like 10 minutes then my game would crash…. I would go and turn off my wifi and it played fine, I did notice that if my graphics were too high and I had too many sims and pets that it would also crash even with CC off. I had to download Nnrass ( I think that’s the name) if I was gonna play online to delete the things that made me crash….the two biggest bugged things I had were cars randomly spawning and the stereos being left on. I didn’t know but if households you’re not playing have a stereo they cut it on and can’t cut them off.
