Frydek got root rot so I plopped it into water. I noticed the bottom of the bulb started getting squishy so I removed the soft parts, treated with hydrogen peroxide, and left it out. Now it’s kind of powdery in the middle. Should I cut off the bottom half of the bulb or is it dead?

Can not even believe this, I’m shaking as I type. My neighbor hired someone to prune an oak tree when multiple large branches fell onto our lawn and broke portion of the fence and sections of our nectarine tree. Not sure what next steps would be. He also did not have permission to come on our side.
