I don't just yet but I think it's down to us still living together for another month whilst things are sorted. I'm hoping to rent a room in a month closer to work and family but I've got the biggest worry that that's when it'll truly sink in :(

I'm really sorry you are going through this and still having to live together. I can't imagine that. It does take time for it to sink in. That happened to me as well. It sank in for me a month and a half later and that is why right now I'm having a hard time. But healing isn't linear and it takes time. We have to give ourselves grace because this is hard. Just remember to put yourself first.

I feel the same. I was pretty much alone in my city besides her. I’m friends with two people here and have been leaning on them so much. I’d move in with my parents but they live across the country. It’s only been two days but I know I will feel like this a long time. Haven’t even been able to sleep yet.

Oh no, I'm so sorry :( The first week is tough. Healing isn't linear. You will have good days and bad days. It is important to feel it though, take time for yourself to mourn and to feel sad. That is totally okay and needed in the healing journey. Maybe try melatonin that can help. Meditating too before bed can help with anxiety
