Thank you! I just joined a couple of groups and am already ordering things for him. I also plan to see a different vet who may be more optimistic. Was your cat stage 4? That makes me so happy. I've seen posts on Reddit and Facebook of cats living years while stage 4, so I'm trying to remain positive.

Has your vet looked at his blood pressure at all? Stage 4 plus heart murmur can mean high blood pressure. If you have the ability to see cardiology or internal medicine specialists they can help fine tune Toby’s treatment plan. Heart murmur and high blood pressure (if he has it) can make fluids tricky as time goes on depending on the cause of the murmur.

He did two different BP tests and has normal blood pressure. Thank you for your advice and words of comfort. He's the best so I just want to do everything I can for him.
