I was on a hunting trip in the Little Belt Mountains when I came across a cave. Upon further inspection, I found a pictograph from the First People's that were in Montana thousands of years ago. Due to the location, I would imagine I'm among the privileged few that know of this existence.

Let's face it, Montana is the greatest state in the nation! We are larger than the entire continent of Asia because of Flathead Lake; we have extensively seen esteemed cartographers prove this factoid, time and again (trust us). We are Big Thigh Country: land of the Brawny Women and drunkest county in the nation. We have more cows than people! Montana is beautiful, but it’s also like living inside a postcard that never gets mailed i.e. the most exciting thing to do is watch grass grow in Scobey.

Grabbed my pair of Big Buck Hunter pitties to chase after some Montana whitetails and fill my families freezer.

Great start to the 2021 hunting season. Battled sleet, wind, rain and snow while bushwhacking through alder and cliffs all weekend before the shot and weather lined up perfectly. First mountain goat hunt for me and looking forward to more in the future. DIY hunt in South Central Alaska.

Everyone is getting ready for turkey season, and I&#39;m still here hunting the winter caribou season. Luckily Alaska increased the bag limit, allowing me to increase my freezer fullness.

Winter caribou season just started here in Alaska while everyone else is enjoying the Fall hunting seasons. Luckily I was able to get the caribou home before if froze all the way through.

As I post this, I realize how ridiculous the photo is, but here&#39;s the successful opening day I had of the Montana antelope season. One of the best tasting backstrap steaks I&#39;ve had the pleasure of eating.

I got the opportunity to do my first solo backcountry hunt this last week. Spent a week chasing Dall Sheep in the Brooks Range of Alaska. I found sheep everywhere, unfortunately I couldn&#39;t quite manage to track down a legal ram. But I scouted the area out and hope to return next year.
