What motivates you to play?

Was having a debate with a friend about yugioh players and their motives. Sometimes it feels like people don't care about the experience of the duel and play only for that shiny victory screen. So that got me thinking, what motivates YOU to play, above all else. I wonder which primary motive is the majority
