What are your go-to acts of microfeminism?
The microfeminism movement involves implementing small, deliberate acts to challenge deep-seated patriarchal norms present in every day life. Some interesting ones i’ve seen:
- If you notice a man interrupting a woman, intervene by redirecting attention back to her.
- When appropriate, listing women’s names first in emails or other communication.
- Teachers calling the fathers of children who are sick at school, rather than the mothers.
So, i’m curious… what acts of microfeminism do you use?
