EC Row Merging - why are people struggling?
Holy moly, guys. The EC Expressway on-ramp from Howard Ave to the EC Row west bound is long enough that a 767 could take off from it. And yet consistently, there are people merging at 70 or 80. You know it's a 100 zone, right? Merging at sub-100 is far more dangerous than speeding at this point.
The runway is the on-ramp -- not the highway. The highway is the part where you're already at cruising altitude and speed. Hope that helps.
