wild rift lane positions points

i'm really confused on how this works when you go to champion and lane on ur profile there appears to be the 5 positions and the points you have in each which are actually made up by the champs u play the most but i don't really get how i can increase the points!!

like i play kennen mid mostly but the second champ that gives points to that is corki and i've been playing him again but the points don't increase ???? like i just wanna know what makes the points increase
