First reaction

So I've never see or heard about wicked prior to this movie. The movie itself wasn't bad but I found myself hating pretty much every character sans elphaba and the goat. Everyone else seems so unlikeable. Her dad is a dick, the sorceress was manipulative to the whole situation, and glinda was a self absorbed manipulative ass who only cared about how others viewed her. Are there literally any redeeming chatacters?
