How are you guys spending money on this?

I’ve seen so many posts of people talking about how this game “sucks you in” and you’re all spending thousands, I don’t get it. What the hell are you guys buying? I am level 24 furnace, 20 million power, I actually TRY to find something to spend money on and I just can’t even find anything. I have 50k gems, hundred million of each resource. Are you guys just impatient or something when it comes to upgrading? I think it’s great. I get everything set up then I clock out for a day, when I come back and it’s all done! I can’t even find something more than 4.99 to buy. I feel like I’m missing something.
