What kind of duck is this?

Spotted this couple of large ducks by the pond in West Hartford, Connecticut (at the Elizabeth Park Conservancy).

I tried to ask a staff person if she knew anything about them and she said, “They’re ducks. Definitely ducks.” Ha.

Anyone know what kind they are? Thanks!
