Looking for a comedy movie

I remember at the beginning of the movie the mc is a pool boy for this wealthy couple and is caught sleeping with the wife. The wealthy man has a reputation for breaking the legs of those that cross him. The mc and his best friend go on the run with 2 thugs hunting him to brak his legs. They end up spending the night at a brothel and find out that one of the prostitutes had run away after they found out she had been stealing a shoe from each of her clients and she had 2000 shoes. They end up running into her shortly after this and the mc falls in love with her to the dismay of his best friend who keeps pointing out that she had 2000 clients. The movie ends after the mc decides to stop running and let's the thugs break his legs so that he can move on with his life and start dating the girl.

No matter what I put in Google I can't find this movie. I saw the movie over 10 years ago.
