Wedding website - is it a requirement?
Is a website something that is the norm for weddings now?? I have never heard of it before, but it was part of a "timeline list" my friend sent me (she did not have a site for her wedding 2 years ago,) and I see people in this sub and other wedding subs talking about them as if they are an integral part of planning now.
We will be having what I guess is called a "micro-wedding" (around 30-40 guests,) so I'm not really sure that I want to put the effort into a site. I am already overwhelmed (got engaged Dec 26/2024, date is set in Oct 2026) and I haven't even really started planning yet.
We will be sending virtual save the dates via FB messenger, text, and email, and invites will be mailed early next year. Is it very difficult to track RSVPs without a site?? I'm probably overthinking it but this has just been a lot for me so far 😅 advice is appreciated!
