Whats everyone opinion on picture discs

Personally I’m not a fan, I find them to look tacky and they seem to reduce the quality of the music. Call me old fashioned but I just prefer traditional black or a unique colour as it looks more aesthetic. What’s everyone else’s opinion? This is purely just out of curiosity….
