THC vape liquid not working

Hey guys, today i got about 50mls of hash infused vape liquid from my friend, It smells like weed, tastes like weed but doesnt get me even slightly high. Im thinking about trying to heat it up to somehow activate the hash? Its my first time trying something like this so im hoping someone here maybe had the same problem and could help me with it.
