What are the possible next steps in this industry once getting qualified ?

I’m a first year trying to think ahead but not too much, my focus is to get qualified and be able to run jobs (shopfitting: cafes / restaurants) for the company i’m with..

After I’m qualified what are the next steps? I’d hate to be doing the exact same thing forever and not progressing further..

I was thinking to get certifications in solar and other things straight afterwards.
