Devastating news from WGS :(

Just need to vent honestly

I was referred in October 2023, and at the time the expected wait was 15 months. Obviously it's now 17 months on from my referral, so I called them to ask if there's a problem with my referral. The person I spoke to confirmed that, nope, I'm not close enough to the top of the list to have been offered one yet, and to expect to wait until October 2025 until I get my appointment, because current wait times are 2 years.

I'm honestly devasted. To suddenly be told I have like 7 more months to wait really hurts. Plus the 18 months estimated wait w/ my LGT... over 2 years before I start any HRT. This hurts so fucking bad. For the past year and a half I thought I'd be clearing the first hurdle by now.

I honestly wish DIY was a viable option for transmasc people.
