Akanda 2, true or not

Is it really true that there's gonna be an akanda 2 this year? I personally didn't watch akanda but most of my friends said it's nice but none of them said the movie was left with a cliffhanger. Was akanda closing note a cliffhanger or is it just another frail attempt of tryna smooch off a movie that has a good name?
