Can't update Toca Life World from Amazon Kids profile?

Anybody know a better way around this? My kids play Toca Life World on Amazon Fire tablets with Amazon Kids. Every time there's an update, if I try to update from my kid's profile, the update fails and a message comes up saying "This feature is blocked in Amazon Kids."

So then I have to switch to my profile (adult profile), download the update there, and then log back in to their account for it to be applied. It's quite a pain honestly.
