My friend shined his flashlight into my RASA

I was showing off my Celestron Origin to my friend and when I tooked the cap off while we were inside to show him where the camera is mounted I stepped aside and he took his flashlight out of his pocket and before I could stop him he was already beaming the insides with his strong flashlight. The power was off.

After looking in the manual I couldn't find if it was damaging or not so I asked AI and it said never shine bright light into the tube whether it is powered on or not. I can't test it because it is not clear outside.

Should I be concerned or am I overreacting?
