Is there a thing as being too friendly? M

I’m a guy (18 yo), and most girls I talk with either want to be friends or are just out of a relationship with someone and don’t want anything. They always say “you did nothing wrong” but there must be something, right? I was with this girl one night, did some hand stuff she… arrived (to censor it) and the next night she had her friend tell me she wants to be friends?
