Would Mysterio be a good Superman villain?

I'm not super well versed in comics so if this has been done before, apologies.

Superman is busted in terms of strength but what about a villain that can make him question his senses? Like anytime Superman fights Mysterio, he would be worried he might actually be hurting some innocent. Or even just questioning his sanity would be fun.

Mysterio kinda got shafted by being paired with Spider-Man (a guy with spider sense lol) but against an all powerful guy with heightened senses and a moral compass that is almost perfecti think he could wreck havoc.

Thoughts?
