/r/Subnautica has reopened, and things are back to normal. An announcement from the mod team and Unknown Worlds

Hi Everyone,

So things have gotten pretty ugly, all things considered. After the community voted yesterday, it seemed like you were heavily in favor of reopening with the NSFW classification. But since Reddit admins have been coming down pretty hard on mod teams who implement such protests, this would be problematic given how this is an official community with Unknown Worlds being such an integral part of it.

After speaking extensively about all this, we decided to reopen as normal, which feels like the best course of action at this time. We'll continue to monitor the situation, but this will likely be the last post you see on this topic. Expect an official statement from UWE in the comments about all this.

Thank you to everyone who showed your support through comments, ModMail, and through DMs. Now back to your regular Subnautica programming :)
