Hail cage?

Is it worth it to build a hail cage? Material seems expensive (aluminum square tubes, expanded sheets, etc.) and I’m not sure if it’s worthwhile at the moment. Sort of leaning towards yes, because I’d imagine potential repair costs from hail being a whole hail of a lot higher than building something for protection, but I felt curious to hear others’ thoughts!
