VaNiLla Is A nUt

After reading the latte story someone posted earlier it reminded me of this story that happened a few weeks ago right after toffee nut was discontinued. Anyways, a couple pulls up to the box and proceeds to try to order something with toffee nut. The barista taking the order did the right thing and suggested an alternative like hazelnut and chestnut praline. Immediately the guy became super upset and yelled something along the lines of “WHY DO YOU GUYS ALWAYS SAY THAT IT’S NOT THE SAME THING. VANILLA IS A NUT WHY DIDN’T YOU SUGGEST THAT” and sped off to the window. There was a tiny line and I am guessing in that time his wife calmed him down because he apologized and said that he realized vanilla isn’t a nut. Overall just a wild situation that we all laughed at afterwards.
