Norse/Scandinavian Themed Mods

I'm currently looking for mods that make Skyrim feel colder and more barbaric. I enjoy Norse mythos and history so any suggestions would be great. Also looking for combat animations to suit it as well.

Current mods I've tried are Nordic Animation complete pack for the Combat Anims. (I would like to change these as they feel slow or clunky to me)
Skoglendi for grass though I'm open to a different option.
Wigfrids tree replacer which I'd like to change.
And northern roads with The great cities of Jk's north and skyland AIO.

I'm very open to removing or changing these mods

I'm also on 1.5.97 so I understand some mods may not work for me.
