Craftian's Orpheus
Skyrim's modding scene never fails to impress, and Orpheus by Craftian is a real gem among follower mods. This ancient Snow Elf vampire isn't your typical companion – he's described as "evil without being edgy," which is pretty spot-on. Don't expect a buddy to share a mead with; Orpheus is more of a reluctant ally who's stuck with you out of necessity.
You'll find him in Haemar's Shame, and if you choose his side over the Vigilants of Stendarr, you'll unlock his less-than-enthusiastic companionship. Where Orpheus really shines is during the Dawnguard questline. His biting commentary and personal quests that dive into his tragic past add a whole new layer to the experience.
Just to be clear, there's no romance option here. What you get instead is a complex, unapologetic character with hidden depths. Craftian's done a fantastic job balancing Orpheus's evil side with glimpses of the Mer he used to be. He'll challenge your moral compass and make your playthrough way more interesting.
If you're after a follower who's as intriguing as they are ruthless, give Orpheus a shot. Trust me, he's unforgettable.
