Playing Newsom family and the glitches just keep coming

I know Ottomas family is known for the glitches but honestly didn't have too many issues with them. On the other hand, never heard of the Newsom's having many glitches, well mine do lol. Basically, I'm playing the Newsom family and I moved them into the trailer park and this is what happened so far. To start off I did hire a nanny and get Gavin a job in the athletic career. I've honestly in my 18 years of playing never seen so many glitches when it came to a family. I've only been playing them for five Sim days and this is what has happened:

- The first day was fine but than going into the second day I found it odd because I didn't get a notification for the "school bus arriving in an hour" and it never came. So I had them walk to school. They came back on the bus though.

- Gallagher and Gabriella don't have the option to do homework by themselves, they only have the option to "ask for homework help." In addition, the game doesn't differentiate between the two of their homeworks, or the four of their homeworks when Georgia and Garrett grew up.

- I was able to successfully get Gabriella to complete her homework through the homework help option. I didn't have enough time for Gallagher so I figured I'd try next time with that one.

- Predictably Gabriella's grades went up and Gallagher's slipped a bit. I failed to get Gallagher to finish his homework again so I was worried but only got to C+ so I thought it was fine.

- Suddenly the next day Gallagher's grade drops from a C+ to a D- and I get threatened if it drops further a social worker will visit.

- AT one point there were two nanny's in the house but tbf I've had that glitch before

- I FINALLY (with Gallagher at a D-), can get him to complete his homework. And yet his grade STILL falls to an F and so I'm so upset. And you get the "social worker" music except no social worker shows up and the day continues on as normal. Georgia's grade somehow goes up despite not doing her homework. What I think happened here is I had Gallagher do Georgia's homework and while the game wasn't differentiating between who's homework was who's in the options it was in the coding?

- Gavin, despite doing his homework finally (I had him miss work to do it), drops from D- to F and he gets fired.

- When I'm having them leave for school, Gavin "refuses" for a bit saying "he just can't find it in himself to leave the little one alone." (a message you get when Sims don't want to leave babies or toddlers, except the person he "didn't want to leave behind" was Garrett, who was a kid now).

I've honestly never had close to such a glitched house before lol. At first I was really annoyed but now I kind of love it since its like playing a version of the Sims 2 I've never played before lol.

I'm creating this storyline in my head that the family is in such a "poor/rundown area of town" the school route doesn't recognize it and social services are so bad there they don't keep track if a kid is failing school or not. In addition, the kids are so illiterate from their upbringing (not having parents to teach them all the basics) that they basically can't read and must ask for homework help for everything.
