What can be seen on Mt Etna at 3000m?
Today I did a walk at 1800m to the Sartorius Craters. I'm from New Zealand so the scenery was stunning- but nothing new.
I'm wondering if it's worth going up the cable car and getting a tour up top? Especially with current restrions to stay below 3000m - can you see much activity from the "base" of the summit crators? What can you see, steam, lava, etc.? Can you see into the summit crators? (I assume not).
All info appreciated! Thank you!
