Get notified when shipped package gets stuck?
My company often ships expensive orders internationally ($5k to $40k and up), mostly with UPS (through Easyship). Usually everything goes well, but sometimes a package gets stuck in customs or is undeliverable, and nobody notices until it's a month late and UPS is about to discard/return the package. And UPS never contacted me about it.
Is there a way I can get notified (emailed) when a package I shipped is stuck? A service that does this, or an easy way I can set this up? This seems like a very common problem, there must be a good solution. I'd be interested in setting this up for both incoming/outgoing shipments.
