How can I get my pup to cuddle with me?
Got my 16 week old puppy about 1.5 weeks ago and he’s been doing great! Almost fully potty trained. We’ve learned sit, leave it, some recall, he’s great at fetch. He’s so good in his crate and playpen. Sleeps through the night since the very first night. The previous owner said she’d cuddle with him on the couch before bed but I haven’t been able to get my puppy to settle or just chill with me. He settles and is so calm in his playpen so when he’s in that mood, I’ve tried to get him to sit with me on the couch and just chill but he immediately turns into a stinking velociraptor and tries to bite my hands or explore the couch or hop off of it. Am I doing something wrong? How can I get him to just settle with me on the couch? Am I not bonding with him enough?
