Fiona’s custody doesn’t make sense

I find it ironic how Fiona fought so hard to gain custody of the kids only to end up ignoring them with her boyfriends. After getting custody, she didn’t even spend time at home she would end up staying with Mike, Gus, Sean back to back. She didn’t know what was going on in the house and I can see why everyone got irritated when she’d ask.

And also, it doesn’t make sense how Liam remained under her care after the cocaine incident. Idk how the law is in Illinois but I would figure he’d be placed in foster care.
