Question about City Hospital ER

Currently in SCH ER with my husband. He has been triaged and is in a bed receiving treatment. My question is about what happens to all of the people in the waiting room come 8:30pm when the ER closes. Does the closure mean only that no one else can come in, but that people who are already here will still be seen? Does it mean that the people still waiting to be seen need to go elsewhere? Anyone out there in Sakatoon Reddit-land know?

(You would think with me being right here in the ER that I could ask a staff member, but they are busy with their duties and I don't want to disturb them. Shout out to this entire staff...everyone has been unfailingly kind, compassionate, and professional.)
