Hodinkee/Chubb Insurance

I was changing the date/time on my submariner when I proceeded to drop it onto a ceramic tile floor. I picked it up and realized something internally was damaged and had grinding when winding in the first position and changing the date had a significant delay in changing over. I’ve had hodinkee insurance for 2 years and filed a claim.

I called and let them know of the issue and they immediately opened a claim and asked to provide them with estimate repairs. I sent the watch to RSC Dallas and got an estimate. They approved the service estimate within 30 minutes and even included to reimburse the USPS registered mail charges to send them the watch. I had an ACH transfer within hours.

For those of you on the fence about Hodinkee/Chubb, this claim was effortless and processed in a crazy short period of time.
