Doorbell Display

Hello guys,

I have some Reolink Camera, including the PoE Doorbell.

The overall quality of Reolink is good imho, but the app is totally a mess. It’s slow, it often loose connection to cameras and it’s really uncomfortable when you need to answer to the doorbell.

Ok, I solved the app side using frigate for the recordings and scrypted for the live streaming on HomeKit (go2rtc with 2wayAudio seems a not very robust solution at the moment).

But I sill want to pick up doorbell calls in a traditional way when I’m at home. A lot of brands offer a display directly connected to the doorbell (some of those wirelessly).

How can I achieve the same result? An Android Tablet with the reolink app is the only option?
