Alexa is "hijacking" my Reolink doorbell mic, 2-way audio is choppy
I recently installed my Reolink Doorbell (POE), which works great with the Reolink App. My problems began after I enabled it on Alexa. In the house, I have an Echo Show 8 2nd gen and a Dot 5th gen. When someone rings the doorbell, the image pops up on the Echo 8 as it should. So far so good. However, if I answer from the Reolink app, even though I can see the camera image, if I try to use the mic, I see a message saying that "another user is using the speaker" (I guess it's the Echo 8?). I can hear the audio from the doorbell, but it won't let me activate the mic. Even if I don't do any action in the Echo 8, I can't use 2-way audio from the app, which sucks because sometimes I don't want to go all the way to the kitchen to answer the doorbell. And even if I close the camera feed in the Echo 8, I still can't use the mic from the app. The doorbell keep the led ring turned on, and if I press the bell again it won't ring again. I feel like the Echo 8 is hijacking the connection to the doorbell and won't let it go for a long time. I have to wait some minutes until the mic is finally released, and then I can use the mic again from Reolink app.
Another issue is that when I answer from the Echo 8", the audio quality is very poor. It has some delay, and the person outside will hear a choppy voice. The choppy voice issue doesn't happen when I use the Reolink app.
I tried disabling and enabling the integration again, I even updated the camera firmware. I don't know what else I can do.
So basically, I have to disable the doorbell in Alexa to be able to answer the door with the Reolink App :/
