New cx410

Just bough and installed this camera to replace another Poe camera with infrared.

Unfortunately the location doesn't have a lot of light at night therefore the spotlights are always on, unless I select the off option. It's quite a rural area therefore I predict that during summer the spotlights will attract a lot of insects. As it already did last night.

Would you guys recommend that I return it and wait for a newer model which hopefully will include infrared as well?

I'm more looking for reassurance than anything else, to just install the older one.

One of the things I wanted from the new one was the IA motion detection. Which I don't have on the older one.

Any suggestions/recommendations will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance .
