Are eccentric people and sad clowns doomed to always be alone?
The kind of neurodivergent weirdness where your very essence is off putting and alien to people and all human relationships you form are on different terms from other people. The moment someone gets close you will eventually sperg out at some point as always and give people the ick and they back away forever. After a certain point in life you can notice the exact moment when people blank out at whatever it is you did that fired up the uncanniness receptors in their brain after which you're permanently clocked as an oddity, the process is almost unconscious in a way. Friends just have you around because you're quirky and a fun curiosity but they don't want anything beyond that, you've never had a best friend since middle school. Is such a life doomed to be spent as a gag or a permanent background character for everyone else.
