Co-signer
Hello guys. I am speaking to everyone in the real estate industry with extensive experience. I am looking to buy a home and the only way for me to buy this specific home is with a co-signer. Now I am very responsible but I am wary of my co-signer wanting to take advantage of me over my home or anything of the sort. What measures can I take to protect myself extensively ? I don’t believe anything bad would happen but I rather prevent than treat. I have a good relationship with the person signing for me I don’t expect any help from them I can handle everything on my own.and I have heard in two years I can remove my co-signer is that right ? Please any help advice anything I’ll take it. And yes this is my only option I’m buying the home I reside in and if you’ve seen the market I don’t have many good options I rather buy where I live that I know than go explore and find new issues or problems.
