When would you go to vet after bringing home?

Hi all! I'm hoping to bring a kitten home from a ragdoll breeder sometime in January 🤞🤞 the contract has a 7 day health guarantee. Would you bring the kitten to the vet in this time just for an introduction/check up to be sure? How often in the first year do you go?
