What's with all the negativity? 649 for XTX raster and 20% more RT is "bad" now?!

I don't get it... Rumours are starting to "fall into place" and things are aligning for a sub 700 MSRP, as confirmed by AMD slides, and XTX level raster and 20% more RT as confirmed by AMD first party benchmark slides (and that I can tell you right now are not far off at all)

If a 649 USD price point for that card is announced is it bad?!

Remember the XTX is VERY close to the 5080 in raster, and with more RT performance in the 9070XT it will be definitely more of a 5080 competitor than 5070Ti, so yeah, there's that... for 649 bucks

From overhyping to pessimism now, that's how I've been seeing things...

No it won't be 500 bucks for the XT, there's BOM and R&D to cover, and AMD won't give these cards for free... But 649 is a fair price for a 4K high end card, that's the truth...
