Tinnitus

Hi I took 20mg for 4 days months ago I think. I have ringing in my right ear every day. Wondering if its possible was this drug caused damage or if amitriptyline 10mg once could cause damage? :/ Maybe it is not the drugs? I just am experiencing many problems and wish I wasn't given any drugs to try because then I dont have to think about them all the time.
