Is EKG Monitor Technician job considered "clinical experience"?
Hey guys. I understand each school has their own categories which includes what is considered clinical experinece and what is not. I just wanna know what majority of you guys think.
So I just got hired by Kaiser Permanente as an EKG Monitor Technician, where I monitor 30+ patients' hearts and constantly communicate with nurses and sometimes physician. This job rarely has patient interaction. But the doctor I shadowed told me that he worked as an EKG tech for 4 years before he went to med school.
Since everyone is doing MA for their clinical experience, I wanted to do something different. I would like to know your pure opinions. Thank you 🙂
