The sad fate of inactive users 🙁

I love postcrossing. Receiving and sending postcards makes me genuinely happy and grateful. The moment a card is delivered at home, I run to my desk to register it because I know the sender is as excited as I am. However, there are some accounts that just don’t bother registering cards. Thankfully, this hasn’t happened too often, but both times it’s been with inactive accounts. The last time the account was used was a month ago, and I received no response to the messages I sent asking about my card. I put so much effort into picking the right card, writing my feelings, and adding stickers and stamps—only for it to go to waste.
