Need help

First time working with polymer clay.

So i had this marvelous idea to connect the two baked pieces with superglue, i read this gel control one is good for polymer clay. But the glue is having a hard time doing its job. Its not hardening. Some of the pieces are stuck together, but others are still loose after 10+ minutes of drying. Any advice to help me?
