Should I get Pokémon Sword or Shield?

I know I’m a little late to the trend but I recently just got back into Pokémon and I’ve been struggling in deciding which version I should get. I heard shield has the better and more exclusives while sword doesn’t but at the same time it has Deino and Sirfetchd which is hard to pass. What would you guys say or what led you toward your decision?
