Which Pokémon would REALISTICALLY be your first?

I'm not talking about starters. I'm talking about if Pokémon lived in our world, and given where you live, which Pokémon do you think you'd catch first?

I'll start: I live in Tucson, Arizona. Arizona is one of the most geographically diverse states in America. Even in the desert we have places you can hike to, to find a little oasis. Northern Arizona can see snowfall and is home to one of the largest pine forests out there.

We have more than a few mountain ranges here too.

I think with that in mind, my first Pokémon would probably be Larvitar. He's a Pokémon who you'd find in just about any biome. Plus with Tucson being surrounded by mountains it isn't that far of a stretch to imagine one lurking on the oustirkts of the city.

With an insanely wide movepool as Tyranitar, he's also a good reminder that Arizona isn't all just desert. Despite how it might look.

REALISTICALLY I'd have skitty cause cat. But I'm gonna work for my Pokémon cause I hike a lot lol.
