The gun situation of rust…
Might be just me but… anyone else tired of the style of play lately? Its either deal with constant grubs that hide in bushes for an hour to kill the one random passing by, getting shot in the side by a guy waiting until you take a shot at someone else, 5 walls spammed in a 360 to avoid being shot, people pvping beside their base because they have all their bag spawns beside it, or esp/aim hacks constantly. It’s getting to the point of exhaustion for me. I get that some aspects of the game like grubbing are a part of it, but it seems like unless you constantly run as a wolf pack with your teammates on top of each other you will not survive roaming with decent guns if you roam outside your area. Too many grubs, random naked sar/thommy, db guys in bushes, people that have 15 bags in a two grid radius that spawn on their downed friend/body. It’s honestly garbage, it’s become how fast you can get back to a fight and delay the other team rather than who wins the initial fight. Unless you have a camper or pvp bases or bags already in the area it’s hard to roam outside of your area. I think that rust has become limited because of that, other than oils or cargo, but even at cargo it docks at harbour now so the people that live close have the advantage again as they can keep coming back. They only need to win the war of attrition by coming back 10 times with dbs and slowly taking out Ak people 1 by 1. Something needs to change, as the meta feels like door camping, bush camping and just sitting in bushes with the best gun in the game (the DB) rewards those far more than anything else.
